WOYWW 5th Birthday

WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
That's bunting for this special day!
Because of WOYWW....
I received a lovely surprise today.... thanks to Annie (Wipso) and Jo (Twiglet)
and Dolores gave me this lovely ATC when she visited some time ago...
the reason is that today is
the 5th Birthday
 of Julia's family of deskers.
Happy Birthday
to everyone who participates each week, the snoopers as well as the deskers who share their crafty places for all the world to see.
It has brought fun and friendship to so many crafters over those five years so to join in the celebrations get over quick as you can to Julia's Stamping Ground before the champers runs out!
Thanks so much to Julia for being the hostess with the mostest.

I can't get to my crafty stuff to make any ATCs due to my renovations  and I didn't plan to participate, but Annie & Jo still each sent me lovely ATCs and cards. Thanks to such
special friends made through
WWWWWWW
that's the
Wonders of the World Wide Web
 and
What's on your Workdesk Wednesday
I have to mark the day and just realised that I can make just one, which will probably be stitched, so I have added my name to the list.
My desk isn't in a very celebratory state and this above (pictured mid state last week) became this below.
Two wall and two base cupboards emptied and removed.
All this, below, is now in my neighbour's garage

All the shelves and stash have gone from this side of the window

and this will be my last job to box up this lot today before the plumbers move in and transform one end into a ground floor shower and toilet.
I really don't know where it will go but it will have to go somewhere!

You are all invited to the grand reopening... on line of course!
Have a great 5th birthday.

Oh wow, I don't envy you with that renovation. You have one big mess on your hands. But you have more stuff than I have ever seen, except maybe in stamp and scrapbook stores. Oh, and fabric stores, too (grin). Happy, happy 5th Anniversary from #22.

Happy Anniversary....here's to many more.

Oh Jo - what a mammoth project for you to tackle. I hope it goes like clockwork and you soon have everything back to normal. Thanks for sharing our little ATCs with the WOYWWers - just a bit of our craftiness to keep you going!! x Jo

Thanks so much for offering to make a wee thing for Lauryn. Having had one go through it knew you would understand. Sad to see such a wee little dot so ill. Love and thanksgiving for WOYWW and our friendship. Shaz in Oz.#18

Wow! Well I wish you luck with it all. I've just had my bathroom ripped out and a wet room style shower etc put in. The mess and noise were mad but so worth it in the end. Hope you find room for all your stash! Enjoy your day & take care. Zo xx 80

Been there, done it and worn the t-shirt but that does not help you. Plaster dust gets everywhere - and I mean everywhere.
Good luck with it all and I will see you around the 16th hopefully. To christen the new loo Hicky style?
Hugs, Neet xx
ps need to keep away from the dust, suffered terribly with Chas painting those cupboards - and in the garage too. No good!

You'll be glad you had the excuse to take photos of how your room is looking at the moment. When it's all finished and new you'll have documented the "before & after' shots and wowing us all with the transformation. Hope you are up and crafting soon. Pxx

OMG! That is truly intimidating - it gives me the shakes even thinking about having to tidy up my room let alone clear it out! Can't wait for the BIG REVEAL. I so missed you at the crop, but if you ever find yourself with time to kill in my neck 'o the woods, LMK.
Got totally ambushed yesterday so late to the party

I am having the most frustrating issues with Blogger this morning - I keep getting Server not found errors, then it does show with no photos, then I comment and it won't post it... I think I managed to comment but might have put it on some other post (or maybe even commented the same on two posts, but not actually the right one! DOH! But I trust you will find it eventually. Just pretend it goes HERE LOL!

hI jO, Belated happy WOYWW. Oh my! Having recently been through the trauma of packing, and still not quite fully recovered, I can only sympathise and hope that the refurbishment goes without a hitch. The new shower room will make it all worth while, I think. Hope all goes well and you have a good week. Elizabeth x #97

Crumbs, Jo, I know just what you're going through as we did the same over a four month period last year. Take heart - it does come to an end and will be wonderful when finished! In the meantime, enjoy each day - and thank goodness for kind neighbours with garages, eh?! Hugs, Chris # 15

Renovations are a pain at the best of times, I do hope this means you get a new crafting area as well as a new loo as Neet puts it. Keep smiling you're lucky you can store you stuff at the neighbours.

Bit late visiting this week, hope you are having a nice WOYWW anniversary week despite the renovations. I found myself in a similar situation some time ago and the only option was to convert the loft. I am sure you will find somewhere for all the crafty stuff.
Happy crafting, Angela x
