Birthday Card & kusadama tutorial link

I made the pop out birthday card for a very special friend, Jayne, who's birthday was Valentine's Day. It's a bit of fun and suits Jayne's bubbly personality.

Today, I've been playing around quite happily, after browsing a great origami site which has really easy to follow tutorials. The flowers are intended to make into a ball but as yet I have only made three from the pages of an old dictionary.

  1. Love the card Jo, bet Jayne was really chuffed to receive it.
Like the flowers too. However, I can't seem to follow origami instructions, I need a one 2 one practical demo, duh!
    Thanks for sharing these, x

  5. Wow - your card is fantastic! Is it your own design or is there a template?

I love your origami flowers - (another fantastic - LOL) especially as they're made from text pages. I will go and have a look at the link, but not sure I'll find them easy to follow - I usually have trouble with the little kimonos and the like!

    Thanks
