WOYWW 4th Anniversary

It's almost 3 years since I first joined in and posted, ..(ie., owned up, confessed to,)  my crafty, ....(ie., messy, arty, creative,) desk,....(ie., space, bomb site,) for WOYWW, but it is a whole 4 glorious years since it all began. 
Our Super Leader, Julia, certainly didn't know then just what she had started with her idea to share our arty workspaces, but I'm sure she does by now. There have been so many wonderful friendships made all over the world, friends who have met up and friends yet to meet. 
Thank you so much Julia and thanks to everyone who has participated, commented, inspired, shared art, shared ideas, given so much friendship, love and support etc., and I am so grateful to have been a part of it all.

There'll be celebrations on Saturday at the WOYWW Crop but I'm so sorry I'll have to miss it, but know you'll all have a whale of a time.

My work desk this week is my dining table where I am finishing off a few crafty bits and I am joined by my new friend and travelling companion, Flat Susan, with balloons, waving her flag in celebration!


I've added to the journal pages I started in Slovenia last week during my super stay enjoying the fabulous country, thanks to the super hostess with the mostest.... my lovely WOYWW friend Cardarian.
I've been getting my ATCs ready to join in the swap and I've got quite a few extras to exchange if anyone would like one. Just leave a comment and email me your postal details. 

If anyone has a Clas Ohlson store near them they have a craft section with some items at a very good price which you may find interesting and rather desirable. My latest find is their new range of washi tapes..... 3 reels in a pack for around £3.50. There are other designs too.
I also made a tag (that's in the RH bottom corner) to send to the next hostess of Flat Susan..... the special little lady who is travelling the world, on a free ticket, in her own tiny suitcase.

    Hi Jo, I'm zooming round from Julia's comments box.
    My mum got a workbench from Clas Ohlsen in Manchester and some tools for her wood carving. Then it was advertised on classic fm, I'd never heard of it before.
    Flat Susan is having a rare old time lately isn't she. I've got a Sally Spoon who travels round but she has been in hibernation for a while, I thing I will giver an airing.

    Welcome back even if it's only for a short time before you jet off again!! Loved the pics from Italy but especially the amazing day at Liverpool. We have booked a holiday cottage near Chirk in July and I wouldn't mind popping up to Liverpool to have a nose around..I've never been and it loos a vibrant place!!

    All amazingly lovely! I, too, am so sad you won't be able to make the crop - I was looking forward to it!

    I am HOPING I will manage to get one final one finished (but it's looking unlikely at the moment due to some fairly serious curve balls live has thrown my way) but will bring the LillyBo one's that ARE finished (which is, I think, 3) for Donna and Dolores to carry to you. Now I need to get then packed up for my train journey to hook up with Julia for a ride!

    Oh Jo - my little ATC is lovely, thanks lots. We are such suckers for gorgeous little handmade bits and bobs aren't we. It's brilliant seeing how different each one is and so good to link up with ATC swappers around the globe! Thanks for the heads up on the fabric - it all feels lovely so I am sure it's nice stuff - cost £1 for all of it!!! I didn't realise it was Liberty - wahoo!!!!!! Happy 4th WOYWW. x Jo

    Would you PLEASE tell Donna I can't get her blog comments to work for me? I joined her site, but now when I try to log in and leave a comment, I get a message that says "that e-mail address is already in use." I've left many messages to her, but they all come back the same way. I'm not sure how to correct the problem, either. Just PLEASE let her know I'm thinking of her and have tried.

    Thank you so much for the ATC Jo, it’s beautiful. I dabbles in a bit of silk painting a while back but wasn’t very good at it but seeing all those lovely ACT’s and the tag makes me think I should give it another go.

    I have exactly that same washi tape design- the one with handwriting! Can you imagine??? How wonderful that you are visiting a WOYWW friend in another country! One day you should come to the Philippines!
