I am so thrilled to be invited as guest hostess for the Tag It On Challenge blog and these are my two cards to start the ball rolling for the challenge.
The images are from the new plate that I designed for Stampattack and Caz, who manufactures them, has kindly donated a plate as a prize . Why not have a go as you might just win! Full details and link button for TIO on my sidebar.
It's amazing where inspiration comes from... the Chinese tots on the new plate originated from a worn out, inch high, picture on an old 1950s melamine children's beaker which DD1 now uses for my grandees. I loved the chubby shape of the children and their outfits so I made drawings of them and added lots more detail. Hope you like the result! They will stand together as a pair really well too if you mask off one or the other. In the right hand pic below I have decoupaged the tot on the left of the square card and this will give the idea of how it would look when masked.
Your art is gorgeous and inspiring. I am going to add to follow. dont want to miss out. beautiful oriental card and i love your colour choices.
ReplyDeletealso i am just reminding everyone I have two prize challenges posted today - one is this weeks spot prize challenge - mother& child theme and the other one is a papercrafts only challenge where EVERY entry wins with free images to use.I would love to see more entries so if you get chance please pop by and visit.

ReplyDeleteYour cards are tags are gorgeous. I love the lovely pretty colours, reds and blacks are not my thing really so it's great to be encouraged to be bright!!
For some reason I haven't been able to leave a comment under Frankie's blog (blogger doesn't seem to want to play today) but my tag is on mine and I'll try to link it again later.
Hope all is good with you.
Hugs Lisax
