100th Follower! Yeah!

I'm a sucker for magic numbers and today Jan of papercraftpleasures.blogspot from USA became the 100th follower of my blog (after her visit via WOYWW) so I'm sending her a little package in thanks. Big thanks go out to all my other followers, and I'd love to send you all a gift, but Jan will have to be the individual token example of my appreciation of you all and she seems to be a worthy, lovely, person to be the winner. I always said to myself that I'd do this but never dreamed it would ever happen that so many folk would stop by my blog regularly.
Off to make a special birthday card now and hopefully catch up with some of my outstanding swaps but in the meantime I'd like to share a few vintage finds with you that I'm quite thrilled with. More treasures to add to all those other things that I really don't need but can't live without!
I went to a local car boot sale whilst DH was in hospital and picked up this amazing key holder for a song as I have a passion for old keys. I think it was £1 for everything in the photo and it includes 50 old manilla pay envelopes and a bunch of smaller ones. I wonder what locks to doors, drawers, or cupboards those keys opened up and what was inside... curiouser and curiouser.........?
My friend gave me some of these wonderful old knitting needles, gauges and counters and some I acquired from charity shops. I just love the central one with sliders to mark rows, increases, decreases etc. I will certainly use these as I am always knitting for my grandees and they will be a great help and a delight to get them out.
Last but not least this is especially for Fluffy and Liverpool Lou to see another stage of the regeneration process of our city. The new facade of Lime Street Station.....Did I hear someone mutter why am I showing a railway station, well, you've got to know what a mess it was before to fully appreciate this!
I'm happy today because DH has had over 25 staples removed from his operation wound and all is well. Another step in the right direction for the road to recovery.

Congratulations, Jo! It's great when you reach that magic number but I'm not surprised so many people want to see what you're up to, you're so talented. Love the vintage finds but I love the Lime St revamp best of all - it looks good. Shall have to come on a jaunt to try it out, lol. Great news about Dave - hope you're both coping okay.

Congrats on your 100th follower, Jo. I'm sure you'll have many more.
I love all your bits and pieces, they look like the curious things I find in my Hubby's shed. He's a hoarder of all things " that might be useful one day"
Glad things are progressing in the right direction with your other half.
Take care and have a lovely weekend.
Hugs Lisax
