The Chain Gang!

Some of my examples
Today, I gave a workshop for Victoria Stampers in Rainhill Village, Merseyside, and we made key chains, (or handbag bling). Victoria Stampers is a group of people, now good friends, mostly but not all members of KCUK Yahoo group. We get together each month for a day and varied programme  of stamp related crafting and whilst it is usually members who take the workshops, we do have guest tutors for specialist subjects. Best of all it is a day of friendship and fun!
Members travel from far and wide to get together each month, Manchester, Yorkshire, Bolton Blackpool etc., which shows what a good time we have.
If anyone within reach would like to join in all this crafting fun then we do at present have a few places available, due to members moving house or changing jobs. Just email me for details.
We made embellishments, to decorate the chains, from Fragments, Stampboard, and chipboard amongst other materials.
Buttons, beads and ribbons make great additions.
Here's a selection of the great examples made and the individual take on the idea, produced by the group today.
A hand painted stamped image set behind a glass pebble
A MahJong tile and a Stampboard tile
Thanks to everyone for a special day and there are real treasures there and lots of new ideas. I hope you like your results as much as I do!

Definitely coming to Xmas party at VS - wild horses won't keep me away. Missed you & everyone else too. I needed three of me yesterday - one to be in St Helen's, one in Plymouth & one in Crewe. It's like buses. Either nothing happening at the weekend or three things at once. But Dec VS takes priority!!!! Pxx

It sounds like you had a great day, Jo. These are all fabulous and all so different. I love my handbag bling you inspired me to make and lots of people have commented on it.
Hope you've not had too much rain today. It's been horrible here all day.
